Catalogue design for Iceberg

Iceberg is a multidisciplinary festival showcasing emerging artist that haven’t reached mainstream popularity yet. 

Typically only about one-tenth of the volume of an iceberg is above sea level. That worked as the perfect visual metaphor for an event aimed at discovering and giving exposure to the next generation of artists, literally showing what lies beneath the tip of the iceberg.

The concept was translated visually by having a die cut in the shape of the festival logo for each opening section of the catalogue. What seems to be just Iceberg’s logo turns out to be the tip of something much bigger, that becomes fully visible when turning the page – allowing the reader to delve deep under the surface and discover what's bubbling under.
